Mobile RPGs Worth Your Daily Commute
The best commute RPGs respect your time. You should be able to open the game, do a fight or two, and put it away without losing progress or momentum.
Turn-based combat is ideal here because it pauses for you. Nobody wants a real-time boss fight when the bus hits a bump. Emberfall Saga is a good example of pacing that fits stop-and-go play.
Look for games with generous auto-save and a clear 'continue' button. If you have to hunt through menus to get back into the action, the game's stealing your ten minutes.
Battery is the other factor. A commute RPG that dies before you reach work isn't doing its job, so favor ones with lighter effects.
